Traditional Chinese Medicine
versus Allopathic Medicine
Traditional Chinese Medicine has
been around since the days of the Chinese emperors and has remained its' popularity
since. Its' focus is health maintenance and longevity. TCM is able solve simple
or complex problems and can help restore person's health with acupuncture and
herbs. There are no side effects. Western (allopathic) medicine, on the other
hand, is best used for treatment of traumas and infectious diseases (for health
emergencies). This form of medicine is inferior when used for health maintenance
and treatment of chronic diseases. All pharmaceutical drugs have moderate to
severe side effects and tend to undermine person's health in a long run.

Choosing an Acupuncturist: When choosing an
acupuncturist, make sure you pick one with official, traditional training (in some
states such as Arizona, chiropractors, naturopaths, MDs can do acupuncture only with
200 hours of acupuncture accelerated training; In California, acupuncture is not included in
the scope of
practice of chiropractors and naturopaths unless they undergo 3,000-4,000 hour
training like all acupuncturists)---go to your State Acupuncture Board for a list of qualified acupuncture
practitioners. |

Acupuncture, herbal therapy, and
special pelvic exercises can help
boost fertility by regulating hormone levels. Recent reports have shown
that women who incorporate acupuncture into their IVF (in-vitro
fertilization) are more likely to become pregnant. (Journal of Fertility and
Sterility 2002, 78: 1149-1153). Phone
consultation available. |

 | Fish Oil:
Many medical
experts today believe that inflammation is an underlying cause of many illnesses:
heart attack, stroke, arthritis, chronic bacterial, fungal and viral infections
(hepatitis), allergies, asthma, sinusitis, skin rashes,
irritable bowel syndrome and Crohn's, colitis, gastritis, and medical conditions with the suffix
"-itis". Two products developed by Dr. Barry Sears, the founder of the
Zone Diet help control inflammation and pain :
